It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine N. Calano (Southington, Connecticut), who passed away on December 7, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Kitchen and Naomi Kitchen (Menzies). She is survived by: her husband Leon J. Calano Jr.; her daughters, Diane Calano (Sherry Faircloth) of East Haddam and Andrea Steflano (Valerie) of Springfield, MA; her grandchildren, Sam and Ashley Stephenson; her great grandchild Peyton Hubeny; her sister Barbara (Norman Robertson) of Wake Forest, NC; and her pet Bob. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brother George W. Kitchen Jr. Due to the current pandemic no funeral services are scheduled at this time.
