She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Zurell and Gertrude Zurell (Stange); her brother Timothy Zurell; and her grandson Carl Aaron Pond. She is survived by: her children, Christine Mason (Guy) of Cheshire, Donna Truncale (Tony) of Watertown and David Lassy (Melba) of Torrington; her sisters, Judith Bergin of Watertown, Lauren McCary of Bristol, Lynne Ripper of Virginia and Gail Smuda of Southington; and her grandchildren, David (Jonathan Mason), Joshua Lassy (Jasmine), Elizabeth Lassy and Donald (Gabriela Pond). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
