He was predeceased by: his wife Millie O'Hala; his son David R. O'Hala; his parents, Joseph J. O'Hala and Mary O'Hala (Folcik); his brother Chester; his sister-in-law Alice O'Hala; and his sister Margaret Crombie (O'Hala).

He is survived by: his brother Richard O'Hala (Lois); his brother-in-law David Crombie; his children, Catherine (Andrew Tichow), Margaret (Bradford Thomas), Joseph Michael (Kimberly O'Hala) and Matthew (Susan O'Hala); his grandchildren, Eric (Deirdre O'Hala), Sarah (Trevor Ebaugh), Patrick O'Hala, Michelle O'Hala, Emily (Jeremy Newell), Christopher Thomas, Alison (Thomas Murray) and Michael Tichow; and his great grandchildren, Zoey Ebaugh, Emillie Murray, Ethan O'Hala and Steven O'Hala. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cherished friends.
