He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mongillo and Irene Mongillo (Mazzera); and his sisters, Irene Sadowski, Rita Fallati and Rose Howard.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Mongillo (Mastrianni); his sons, Jay Mongillo (Linda) of Plantsville and Michael Mongillo of Southington; his grandchildren, Austin and Emily Mongillo; and his sister-in-law Frances Mastrianni of Southington. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
