It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph A. Rao of Southington, Connecticut, born in Lowell, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 18, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Rao and Lydia Rao (Caruolo). He is survived by: his wife Santina Morelli (Sandy); his children, Laura Taricani, Michael of Southington, Maria Rao of Stratford, Anton Rao, Christina (Larson) of Cheshire, Christian Rao of Wallingford, Daria Mondo and Scott of Southington; his cousin Johnny (Ginny Rao); and his grandchildren, Darren (Susan), Adria (Stephen), Brandon (Robyn), Samantha (Dan), Brynna, Michaela, Anthony and Gabriella. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
