It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean-Paul Jalbert of Southington, Connecticut, born in Saint-Jacques, New Brunswick, who passed away on January 21, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Jalbert and Anne-Marie Jalbert (LeBel); his grandson Nicholas Jalbert; and his sisters, Alliette Plourde and Rachel Plourde of Edmundston, NB..

He is survived by: his wife Gilberte "Bert" Jalbert (Sirois); his children, Bernice Jalbert (Dave Neto) of Middletown, Lise Jalbert of Southington, Peter Jalbert (Jennifer) of Granby, Eddie Jalbert (Elaine) and Hartford; his grandchildren, John Jalbert (Liz), Brian, Kenzie and Maxime Jalbert; his great grandchildren, Persephone and Sebastian Jalbert; and his siblings, Maurice Jalbert (Eveline) of New Britain, Marguerite Bouchard (Renald) of Charlebourg Quebec, Beatrice Pilote (Jean) of Edmundston, Marie-Paule Pelletier of Edmundston, Jocelyn Levesque (Robert) of Edmundston, New Brunswick, Micheline Martin (Peter) of Brossard and Jeanne D'Arc Marchand (Gaetan) of St. Hilaire. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
