She was predeceased by: her father Peter Uryga; her husband John F. Samojedny; and her siblings, Mary, Veronica and Frank.

She is survived by: her mother Anelia Uryga (Zabrensky); her children, Thomas Samojedny of Southington, Robert Samojedny (Sandra) of Watertown and Nancy Cannatelli of Southington; and her grandchildren, Annie and AJ Cannatelli. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
