He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick "Patsie" Shanley and Dorothy Shanley (Allen); his wife Betty; his son Michael J. Shanley; his brothers, Dick and Bob Shanley; and his sister-in-law Beverly Shanley-Scovin.
He is survived by: his daughters, Christine "Chrissy" Shanley-Buck (Ron) and Kathleen "Kathy" Shanley; his grandchildren, Michael, Lauren Shanley, Aidan, Sean Buck and Camden Gould Scoggin; his sister-in-law Donna Shanley; his daughter-in-law Susan Kumro; and his friend Bobby Dziedzic. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
