It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Putala of Southington, Connecticut, born in Gardner, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 8, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Putala; her parents, Henry Kirby and Lillian Kirby (Monette); and her sisters, Viola Vadney and Loretta Arsenault.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Putala of Southington, Marie Luduc (George) and Dennis (Loretta) of Southington; her sister Rita Erkkila; her grandchildren, Dr. Dawn Mikaitis (Charles), Thom Miller (Gift), Geoff Miller (Danielle), Dennis Putala II (Sandy), Sara Marzi (Adam) and Rebekah Sena (Michael); and her great grandchildren, Ryan, Eden, Riley, Winter and Lila.
