It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ida Rose Moran (Southington, Connecticut), born in Meriden, Connecticut, who passed away on November 30, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincenzo Verdolini and Sophia Verdolini; her daughter Joyce (French); her siblings, Lee Barbagli, Victor Verdolini, Mario Verdolini, Mary Mazzerella, Carol Schipritt, Rose Ramini and Louise Forcier; and her sisters-in-law, Minnie Barbagli, Lorraine Verdolini and Enis Verdolini.
She is survived by: her daughter Ida; her husband John J. Moran; her children, James (Cheryl) of Ann Arbor, MI, Janice (Russell) and Jo Ann of New Haven; her grandchildren, Reagan, Dana Berube (Robinson) of Pittsburgh, PA, Michael, Nicole Sweeney (Berube) of Sudbury, MA and Justin; her great grandchildren, Nathan, Jacob Sweeney, Colin, Isabella Larson and Erin Rogers; her friend Jan Fortier; her niece Myrna Barbagli; her goddaughter Nancy Leary; and also, Kay White, Diane Bird and Ida.
