He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry R. Sr. Masterbone and Rose Masterbone (Onofrio); his wife Jennie Masterbone (Orofino); and his siblings, Francis Masterbone, Mickey Otto and Alice Winters.

He is survived by: his children, Harry John Masterbone (Bridget DiCosimo), Deyanne Keegan (Michael) of Bristol and Joanne Hunt of Torrington; his grandchildren, Matthew Keegan (Kathy), Chelsea Salvatore (Sean), Christina Teaman (Dan) and Joseph Scott (Willow); his great grandchildren, Julianna, Alexa, Brooklyn, Shea, Joshua, Lucas, Felicity and Leland; his sister Dolores "Toot" Dupont of Bristol; and his friend Joseph Caminiti of Bristol. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
