He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Prekosovich and Veronica Prekosovich; his daughter Jennifer Dugan; his brother Steven Prekosovich; his sisters-in-law, Stephanie Emmons and RoseMary Takacs (Carl Takacs); and his son-in-law David Cappetta.

He is survived by: his spouse Shirley A. Prekosovich; his daughters, Judith Prekosovich-Streater (Reginald) of Cheshire and Julie Cappetta of Southington; his grandson Streater; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Prekosovich, Patricia Guy and Jack Emmons. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
