He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Blaney and Phyllis Blaney (Sherman); his siblings, Richard, Gerald, Gary, James and Sandra Mains; his brothers-in-law, Reginald Chapman, Ernest Van Hyning, Robert Lenz and Nicholas Misenti; and his nephew Richard Jukonski.
He is survived by: his wife Rachel Blaney (Chapman); his children, Ann-Marie DeLuco (Daniel Lee) of Canton, Sandra Angelillo (David Sr.) of Burlington and Ernest Blaney Jr. (Dina) of Cromwell; his grandchildren, April Carr, Alexander Carr, Sarah Blaney, Ashley DeLuco and Ryan Blaney; his stepgrandchildren, Brianna Bourlogiannis (Thanasi) and David Angelillo Jr. (Samantha); his great grandchildren, Nimson, Jameson, Darian, Yanni and Iliana; his sister Rosalie Paisley of Canada; his brother-in-law Norman Chapman; and his pet Cinnamon. He is also survived by the love of his life, and nieces and nephews.
