She was predeceased by: her husband John J. Pytel Sr.; her parents, Karol Matusiewicz and Rose Matusiewicz (Kazalski); and her brothers, John, Frank, Andrew and Joseph Matusiewicz.
She is survived by: her sons, John J. Pytel Jr. (Carol) of Thomaston and Robert Pytel of Plantsville; and her granddaughter Heather Pytel of Southington. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
