He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Nelson (Anderson); and his parents, Robert Nelson and Ruth Nelson. He is survived by: his children, Richard Nelson (Cynthia) of Westfield, PA, Jeffrey Nelson (Patricia) of Southington and Karen Nelson-Oliveria (KC); and his siblings, David Nelson (Eleanor) of Southington, Lita Nyren of Southington and Mary Aduskovich (Peter) of Haddam. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
