Bernard Ackerman Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 31, 2020, at the age of 83, Bernard Ackerman of Southington, Connecticut, born in Burlington, Vermont passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his spouse Shirley Ackerman (Millette); his parents, Ernest Ackerman and Bernice Ackerman (Munn); and his daughter Tracey Ackerman. He is survived by: his children, Brenda Crosby of Middletown, Tammy Kijanka of Palm Harbor, FL and Richard Ackerman (Mark) of Palm Harbor, FL; his grandchildren, Chasity Beier of Middletown, Kyle Kijanka (Christina), Tayler Kijanka and Nick Wohlrabe; and his great grandchildren, Paeton, Harper Beier and Callie Wohlrabe. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Due to the Covid-19 epidemic services and burial will be private at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Meriden.
