We are sad to announce that on April 1, 2022, at the age of 71, Barbara Ann Matiash of Southington, Connecticut, born in Hartford, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Bates and Edna Bates (Barrieau); her son Mark Steven; and her sister Naureen. She is survived by: her husband Michael Matiash; her daughter Andrea Torres (John Torres); her granddaughters, Isabella, Emily and Olivia Torres; her sisters, Caroline (late Michael Kaiser) and Marianne (Dennis Barlow); her mother-in-law Sofia; her sister-in-law Mary (Frank Sorano Jr.); her niece Jennifer (Steven Diamond); her great-nephew Theodore; and her niece Christina (Joseph Angelillo).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
