She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph E. Merceri and Alice Merceri (King); her husband Robert F. Ahern Sr.; her son Ronald R. Ahern; and her siblings, Shirley Brown and Joseph "Sonny" Merceri.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Crandall (David) of Southington, Colleen Piersanti (Robert) of Springfield, MA., Tracy Ahern of Bristol and Robert Ahern Jr. (Stacey) of Kensington; her brother Peter R. Merceri (Virginia); and her grandchildren, Carrie, Jill, Kelly, Scott, Jennifer, Robert F. III, Chad and Craig (G. G.).
