It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Cook (Southington, Connecticut), who passed away on January 6, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her children, Virgil Cook of Southington, CT, Vincent Cook of Kinston, NC, Vernon Cook of Charlotte, NC, Valerie Harris of Wake County and Velencia Stevens of Durham, NC; and her siblings, Ernest Burgess Jr. of Richlands, NC, Albert K. Jones of New Bern, NC, Ola Mae McCallister of Jacksonville, NC, Barbara Baggett of Jacksonville, NC and Oletha J. Smith of New Bern, NC. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 5 great great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Cook family.
