We are sad to announce that on July 27, 2024, at the age of 77, Richard R. Burmeister of Southbury, Connecticut, born in Waterbury, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Richard is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Richard's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore "Bud" Burmeister and Rosalyn Burmeister (Biron); his son Christopher; and his sister Karen Burmeister. He is survived by: his wife Linda Burmeister (DeBonis); his son Richard "Teddy" Burmeister (Lindsay) of Coventry; his stepdaughter Lauren Magoun (Steve) of Arlington, MA; his grandchildren, Benjamin, Madeline, Jack and Nathaniel; his sister Betsy Burmeister of West Tisbury, MA; and his pet Frankie.
