It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Kevin Grape Sr. of Southbury, Connecticut, who passed away on June 2, 2022, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward F. Grape, Sr. and Mary E. Grape; and his brothers, Edward F. Grape, Jr. and Robert M. Grape. He is survived by: his former wife Mignonne Simoneaux; his sons, Richard K. Grape, Jr. and Randall T. Grape; his grandchildren, Seraphina H. Grape and Bacchus V. Grape (Mignonne Simoneaux); and his sister Mary Eileen Roth. He is also survived by his family and friends.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Rick moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana where lockdowns stifled his outgoing nature.
