It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Beth Garavel (Southbury, Connecticut), born in Danbury, Connecticut, who passed away on January 10, 2020, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Garavel and Rosalie Garavel (LaCava); and her brother Jimmy Garavel. She is survived by: her children, Danielle Jowdy of Philadelphia, Christopher Jowdy (Casey Hannon) of Danbury and Rebecca Jowdy (Tom Havelka) of Newtown; her grandson Patrick; her former husband Daniel P. Jowdy; and her brothers, Robert and Paul Garavel. She is also survived by many cousins, colleagues, friends.
