He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Juracek and Anna Skovajsa Juracek; and his siblings, Emily Perko, Anne Cannon and Michael Juracek.
He is survived by: his wife Julie Hlavaty Juracek; his daughters, Judy Juracek of Bethel, CT and Jan Juracek Johnson of New York; and his grandson David Johnson of New York City.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations in Lou's name to the St. James Lutheran Church Building Fund.
