It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Julius A. Szakolczay of Southbury, Connecticut, who passed away on August 14, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Marjorie Szakolczay (Roman); his son Barry Szakolczay; his sister Ann Kovacs; his brother-in-law Albert Kovacs; his brother Ronald Szakolzay; and his sister-in-law Laura Szakolzay.

He is survived by: his daughter Sharon Martin (Michael) of Seymour; his grandchildren, Rebecca Martin (Eric Arsan) and Patrick Martin; his great grandchild Remi Arsan; and his daughter-in-law Cecelia Szakolczay. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, it is suggested that contributions in his memory be directed to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
