She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Prasse and Elizabeth Prasse; and her brother-in-law Richard Bassett. She is survived by: her husband Bill Bassett; her children, Lynne Perry (Craig) of Southbury, Betsy DePaolo (Anthony) of Cheshire and Bill Bassett (Julia) of Easton; her grandchildren, Lauren, Christopher Perry, Ali, AJ DePaolo, Will, Maeve and Charlie Bassett; her siblings, Herb Prasse (Ellen), Beth Seeley (Rich) and Jane Taft; her brother-in-law David Bassett (Patricia); and her aunt Frances Halpin. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
