He is survived by: his wife Ruth Sykes Lenahan; his sons, Joseph Lenahan Jr. (Sandra) of Oxford and John Lenahan (Sharon) of Southbury; his grandchildren, Kimberly Schmitz of Myrtle Beach, S. C., Kurt Lenahan of Roxbury, Lisa Randall of Moultonborough, N. H., Tracey Lenahan of Oxford, Kelly Lewis of Woodbury and Joseph Lenahan III of Oxford; his great grandchildren, Justin, Joshua, Shellie, Owen, Brock, Evelyn, Liam and Macklin; his great great grandchildren, Samuel, Leah and Joyanna; and his niece Sharon Madsen of West Hartford.
