He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his daughter Crystle Hofmann (Wayne Gargoni); his grandchildren, Alyssa, Madison, Riley and Bailey Gargoni; his son John Hofmann of Southbury; his stepchildren, Harriet and Michael Sims; his stepgrandchildren, Alexandria DiMichele and Gabriela Capozziello; and his sister Lillian Groody (Frank) of Woodbury.
