Jean Oemcke Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 7, 2021, at the age of 86, Jean Oemcke of Southbury, Connecticut, born in Waterbury, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Dr. Bernard F. Oemcke; her parents, Sandy Poole and Gertrude Poole (Benz); her son Brian; her grandson Ryan Largay; and her son-in-law Brian Sluis.
She is survived by: her spouse Bernie Oemcke; her children, Patricia Rowland (John) of Middebury, Gail Sluis of Bewster, MA, Cheryl Summa of Burlington, VT and Dr. Glen Oemcke (Kathleen) of Southbury; her stepgrandchildren, Kirsten Velezis (Matthew), Julianne Rowland and Robert Rowland; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Grey and Ella Velezis.
