She was predeceased by: her parents, William J. Houlihan and Martha Houlihan (Cranwell) of Oxford; her husband Ernest Beardsley (Ernie); her sisters, Beryl Rio, Martha Fratesi and Shirley Thorsen; and her great grandchild Tyler Warren.

She is survived by: her children, Charlie (Kate), William of Waterbury, Ernest (Kate) of Southbury, Shirley Mariano (Tony) of Middlebury, Linda Winters (Ed) of Woodbury, Bonnie Galloway (James) of Lake Oswego, Nancy Beardsley (John Williams) of Nobleboro and Martha Garfield (Vincent Lee) of Southbury; her grandchildren, Kim Warren (Vinny) of Torrington, Edward Winters III, Brendon Winters of Woodbury, Michael Mariano (Zaira) of Naugatuck, Bradley Winters (Megan), Lauren, Nathan Beardsley of Southbury, Miranda and Rebecca Garfield of Waterbury; her great grandchildren, Ryan Warren of Torrington, Gunnar and Easton Winters; her sister Ruth Baummer of Naugatuck; and her sister-in-law Doris Metcalf of Southbury. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
