James Joseph Burns Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 28, 2022, at the age of 89, James Joseph Burns of Southbury, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Burns and Alice Lavery Burns; his brother John (Joan); and his siblings-in-law, Timothy Sweeney and Eileen Burns.
He is survived by: his wife Carol McEneaney Burns; his daughters, Karen Wappler and Susan Vitone; his grandchildren, Jessica, Kasey and Nicholas (Tiffany); his siblings, Edward, Mary Alice Massaro (Danny) and Anne Sweeney; and his brother-in-law Edward Cooney (Peggy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
