She was predeceased by: her husband Walter P. Smigala; and her parents, William Gassner and Elfriede Gassner (Weise). She is survived by: her daughters, Christine DiVenere (Len) and Cathy Keeler (Jack); her grandchildren, Jenna Smith (Nick), Matt Baldwin (Jeanine), Carrie Ann Miller (John) and Ryan Keeler (Melissa); her great grandchildren, Sam, Annie, Matthew, Addison, Isabelle, Jack, Luca, Evan and Kyle; her stepgrandchild Juj Val (Cristina); and also, Taylor and Maya. She is also survived by her nephews, nieces and cousins.
