It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harvey C Root of Southbury, Connecticut, who passed away on February 2, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Root (Large) and Sydney Root; and his sister Dolores Gerety of Connecticut. He is survived by: his pet Heidi; his wife Kathleen; his children, David Root (Janice) of Massachusetts, Dan Root of Florida, Martha Fagan (Jim) of Massachusetts and Jason Root (Wendy) of Connecticut; his stepdaughter Susan Tracy (Jim); and his cousin Susan Clifford of California. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
