He was predeceased by: his wife Josephine Knipschild (Principato); his parents, Francis Knipschild and Edna Schuler Knipschild; his son Keith Knipschild of Kings Park; and his brother Gerard Knipschild of Kings Park.
He is survived by: his daughters, Wendy Ammon (Harry) of Oakville and Deborah Hernandez (Michael) of Danbury; his grandchildren, Ryan Ammon, Noelle Germain (Adam), Brittany Rutkanus (Dean), Courtney Ammon, Michael, Gregory and Christina Hernandez; and his great grandchildren, Lorelei Germain and Molly Josephine Germain.
