He was predeceased by: his parents, A. Elliott Bates and Jane Gray Bates. He is survived by: his daughters, Bronxville, Betsy, Leslie and Jennifer; his sons-in-law, Claude and Edward; and his grandchildren, Matthew, Stacey, Kimberly, Karen, Gray, Cameron and Bailey. He is also survived by his family and was an incredible Father and Grandfather.
