She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Schmidt and Ellen Schmidt (Nickstadt); her husband Tom; and her siblings, Henry Schmidt and Ann Hoffmann (Schmidt).
She is survived by: her children, Thomas (Jennifer Cline Sargent), Patti (Fred Lorenzen) and Jeanne (Artie Nadler); her grandchildren, Bill Lorenzen, Kate Nadler, Kevin Nadler, Emma Lorenzen, Aidan Sargent, Eric Sargent and Irina Sargent; her sister Wilma Sargent (Schmidt); and her cousin Eileen Travaglia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial Donations can be made in Doris' name to the National MS Society, Wounded Warrior Project, or a charity of your choice.
