He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter James and May Victoria Schiffer (Beardsley). He is survived by: his wife Evelyn May Schiffer (Bilchak); and his children, Mary (Ernst Weber), David Jr. (Daryl Duarte) and Elizabeth Schiffer. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. John's Cemetery (2610 Nichols Ave, Stratford, CT 06614).
