Claire Begg Prezioso Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 15, 2025, Claire Begg Prezioso (Southbury, Connecticut) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her former husband William V. Begg, Jr.; her parents, Thomas E. Moran and Mary Ellen Moran (Caffrey); her sister Ginny Joyce; and her brother-in-law Ralph Giles.

She is survived by: her spouse Lew Capuano; her children, Dr. William V Begg, III, Thomas M. Begg, Michael M. Begg, Debra Prezioso Kritikos and Chris Prezioso; her stepson Chris Capuano; her daughters-in-law, Leah, Jenny, Tricia, Karen and Sarah; her grandchildren, Erin, Caity of Billy, TJ, Molly, Katherine, Ella, Caroline, Jaden and Catherine; her great grandchild Caleb; her sisters, Trudy Giles, Debbie Moran and Dr. Mary Jane Brackett; and her brothers-in-law, Joe Joyce and Brian Porch. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Daily Chapel of Sacred Heart Church (910 Main St S, Southbury, CT 06488). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (910 Main St S, Southbury, CT 06488).
