He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy E. Nead (Brooks); his parents, Wilbert A. Nead and Jessie Nead (Stevens); and his siblings, Betty Isenberg (Nead), Beverly M. Beach (Nead), George W. Nead and Darlene L. Fonner (Nead).
He is survived by: his children, Alice Clifford of Vernon, Conn., Charles (Claudia Scheuten-Nead) and Barbara Hanson (Daniel) of South Windsor, Conn.; his son-in-law James Clifford of Vernon, Conn.; his grandchildren, Christopher Hanson (Jennifer) of Springfield, VA, Danielle Hanson of Frisco, TX, Elora, Duda (Adam) and Cassidy Hanson of South Windsor, Conn.; his great grandchild Alexander Hanson; and his brother Robert of Altoona, PA..
