He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Tyrol (Manning); and his son Robert J. Tyrol Jr.. He is survived by: his parents, Francis Tyrol and Dorothy Tyrol (Cooper); his children, Tom, Thomas Tyrol (Catherine) of Bolton, Susan Tyrol-Bagcal (Rene) of South Windsor and Sandra Tyrol Bostic (David) of Windsor; his daughter-in-law Julie Tyrol of Vernon; and his great grandchild Tavis.
