With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard E. Ptachcinski of South Windsor, Connecticut, born in Thomaston, Connecticut, who passed away on October 19, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Richard J. Ptachcinski; his siblings, Dorothy Vigeant, Judith Hriceniak and Francis Ptachcinski; his son-in-law Paul Jorgensen; and his parents, Enos Ptachcinski and Helen Ptachcinski (Krayeski).
He is survived by: his children, Judith Jorgensen of Enfield, Thomas Ptachcinski (Glizel) of South Windsor and Niel Ptachcinski (Kira) of South Carolina; his brother Eugene Ptachcinski of Thomaston; his daughters-in-law, Michele Upvall and Lee Parsons; his grandchildren, Jonathan (Aylea), Rachel, Tyler, Jenna Ptachcinski, Leah Adam, Ashley Whittle (Michael), Bryan Hall, Jay Jorgensen (Jenn) and William Jorgensen (Amy); his great grandchildren, Brea Rose, Annalise Ptachcinski, Miah, Sarah, Margaret, Bradford, Collin and Landen Jorgensen; and his wife Rosemary. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
