He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Mangan and Evelyn Mangan (Smith). He is survived by: his spouse Clare Mangan (LaBrie); his children, Gayle M. Kassal (Peter) of Annapolis, MD, Christine M. Cooney (Kevin) of South Windsor and Brian L. Mangan (Malini) of Plantation, FL; his sisters, Ann Marie Wells (Donald) of Clinton and Karen King (Kenneth) of Southington; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Mangan, Sarah Cooney, Collin Kassal, Simran Mangan, Liam Mangan and Skye Kassal; and his great grandchildren, Kayden Lawrence Mangan and Kaylani Mangan.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home (419 Buckland Rd, South Windsor, CT 06074). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Margaret Mary Church (80 Hayes Rd, South Windsor, CT 06074). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Cemetery (1309 Stanley St, New Britain, CT 06051).
