He was predeceased by: his wife Priscilla M. Cyr; his siblings, Claude Cyr, Anita Kidney and Georgette Fitzherbert; and his grandson Ryan.
He is survived by: his parents, George Cyr and Elizabeth Cyr (Martin); his children, Gwendolyn Matlock (Scott) of Denver, Laurie Cyr-Martel of Auburn, Kathy Cyr of Tolland and Alan Cyr (Kathie) of Vernon; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Arlint (Will) of Auburn, ME, Emily, Jessica and Daniel Cyr of Vernon, CT; his great grandchild Collin Arlint of Auburn; and his sister Lorretta Williams of Caribou. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
