Josephine Briggs Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine Briggs of South Windsor, Connecticut, who passed away on August 17, 2020, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pia Bertone and Vincent Bertone; her husband Richard Briggs; and her siblings, Teresa, Mario, Vangie and Louis.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard and Mark Briggs (Leslie) of Glastonbury; her grandchildren, Austin Briggs and Abigail Briggs of Glastonbury; and her sister Madeline Dion of Ellington. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
This faith and resilience helped her survive cancer at 96 and Covid recently.
Donations can be made in her memory to the Ct Humane Society as she never met a kitty she didn't like.
