She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Kulas and Cecilia Kulas; her husband Robert Hornish; her son Matthew Hornish; and her sister Camile Holdsworth.
She is survived by: her sons, Jeffry Hornish of South Windsor, Christopher Hornish (Rowena) of Daytona, Florida and Neil Hornish (Annie) of Suffield; her grandchildren, Jackie Hornish, Garrett Hornish (Brittny), Amy Hornish (Ryan Maradei), Michael Hornish (Kristin) and Nicole Hornish (Matt Fawcett); her great grandchildren, Finn, Bowden, Aiden, Connor, Nolan Hornish, Cameron Fawcett, Olivia and Alena Patsun; and her sister-in-law Helen Faith Hornish (Mary Justin) of Winchester. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Joan may be made to Guiding Eyes for the Blind or to The Humane Society of the United States.
