She was predeceased by: her son Donald M. Apel; her sister Grace Billings; her brother-in-law Edward Billings; her son-in-law Laurent Veilleux; and her sister-in-law Betty Lou Smith (Apel).
She is survived by: her husband George F. Apel; her children, Allen F. Apel (Jayne) of East Hartford and Cheryl Veilleux of Lyndonville, VT; her grandchildren, Andrew Apel (Caitlin) of Northborough, MA, Emily Lin (Peter) of Melbourne, FL, Yvonne Deady (Joe) of Ware, MA and Kayla Veilleux (Quintin Tomasi) of Lyndonville, VT; her great grandchildren, Ty Lin, Ethan and James Apel; her sister Janet Belber (Jerry) of Brimfield, MA; and her sisters-in-law, Sandra Finley (Apel) and Charmaine Hancock (Apel). She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
