She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Martino; and her stepson Michael Martino. She is survived by: her children, Jean and Veeder-Root; her grandchildren, Michael Zilahy, Kathleen Zilahy, Mia, Alexandra of Glastonbury, Nancy, Robert Carter, Lindsay, John Pender of Ellington, Alexander Pender, Christine Pender, Collin, Olivia and Lucas of Vernon; and her stepchildren, Robert Martino of Glastonbury, Richard Martino of Plantation, Lisa LaPoint of Berlin and Lora Martino of Wethersfield.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Jean's name may be made to the Hospice/Oncology department at St. Francis Hospital.
