It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jane Ann Helbig of South Windsor, Connecticut, born in Queens, New York, who passed away on March 27, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mary Cooke and Byrnes; her husband Robert B. Helbig of South Windsor; her children, Michael R. Helbig (Stacey) of Ellington and Lori E. LaJoie (Brian) of Putnam; her granddaughter Mackenzie L. Helbig of Ellington; her aunt Anna Byrnes; and her siblings-in-law, Florence Helbig and Edwin Helbig.
At the beginning of her retirement, she volunteered with the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life.
