He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael J. Galvin and Mary Galvin (Riordan); and his brothers, Joseph M. Galvin and John J. Galvin. He is survived by: his wife Louise Galvin (Leonard); his daughter Teresa Galvin (Bryan Pigeon) of Falls Church, VA; his grandsons, Alex and Jake; his son James J. Galvin Jr. (Gina) of South Windsor; his grandchildren, James III, Jordan, Julia and Jillian; his daughter Kathleen Boughton (Joseph R. Boughton Sr.) of South Windsor; his grandsons, Joseph Jr. and Anthony; his son Martin J. Galvin (Brandee) of Broomfield, CO; his granddaughters, Emily, Grace and Chloe; his son Dennis M. Galvin (Kelley) of South Windsor; his grandchildren, Breanna Galvin Kahn (James), Dennis Jr., Aidan, Hannah (Spencer Martin), Erin and Daniel; and his siblings, Francis M. Galvin (Judy) of Hartford and Mary Maureen Beaulieu (Paul) of South Windsor.
