He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Lovett and Gwendolyn Lovett (Barnes); his granddaughter Melissa C. Galka; and his siblings, Evelyn Quinn, Marilyn Reid, William Lovett and Helen Casasanta.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Lovett (Belliveau); and his children, Cynthia Galka (Gary) of Spofford, NH, Karen Grant (Joel) of Huntington Beach, CA, James H. Lovett, Jr. (Stacy Mugford Lovett) of South Windsor and William A. Lovett (Jennifer Lynn Lovett) of Vernon. He is also survived by five grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
