Gilbert J. Cote Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilbert J. Cote Sr. of South Windsor, Connecticut, who passed away on April 6, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his spouse Claire Cote (Bergeron); his parents, Zepherin Cote and Denise Cote (Dube); his daughters, Denise Cote and Charlene Cote; and his siblings, Natalie, Doris, Teresa, Joanne, Dolan, Herman and Reed.
He is survived by: his sons, Gilbert J. Cote, Jr. (Janine) of East Hartford and Gerald F. Cote of Ellington; his brother George Cote (Antoinette) of Hebron; his grandchildren, Chelsea, Jared, Jesse, Sara and Mark; and his great grandchildren, Jacob, Anthony and Leo.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home (419 Buckland Rd, South Windsor, CT 06074).
